The Justice and Democracy Forum (JDF) in collaboration with the PKS Fraction of the DPR RI held an International Seminar to support Palestinian independence with the theme ‘It’s Time for Palestine to be Free!’ which was held online on Tuesday (31/10/2023).
The seminar was attended by more than 1,000 participants, presented speakers : the 10th and 12th Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia and General Chair of the Indonesian Red Cross (Ketum PMI) Jusuf Kalla, activist and International Human Rights Expert from Italy Maren Mantovani, and Malaysian MyCARE Humanitarian Activist, Pofesor Hafidzi Mohd Noor. The moderator is the Deputy Chair of the BKSAP DPR RI Sukamta.
The Justice and Democracy Forum (JDF) in collaboration with the PKS Fraction of the DPR RI held an International Seminar to End Israeli Occupation in Palestine with the theme ‘Stop Israeli Genocide in Gaza’ which was held online on Tuesday (21/11/2023).
The seminar was attended by more than 1,000 participants, presented speakers : Dr. Salim Segaf Aljufri, MA as Head of International Union of Muslim Scholar, Dr. Azzam Ayoub, General Secretary of Justice and Democracy Forum, Syed Ibrahim Syed Noh, Head The Malaysian Parliament Caucus for Palestine, Dr. Syahrul Aidi Maazat, Head of The Indonesia Parliament Caucus for Palestine.
Justice and Democracy Forum held meeting in the Turkish capital Ankara. JDF had a series of distinguished and fruitful meetings that opened with a meeting with the Vice President of the Justice and Development Party, the Foreign Relations Officer, Mr. Zafar Sirakaya, at the party headquarters, then JDF had series of meetings in the Turkish House of Representatives, including the President The Council, Mr. Noman Kortolmoush, the Foreign Relations Committee chaired by Mr. Fouad Oktai, and the Committee of Friendship with Palestine in the Council chaired by Mr Hassan Turan.
All the meetings were fruitful and distinguished, agreed on joint activities to support and deepen the values of justice and democracy in our society, as well as forging paths of joint work and sharing experiences.
JDF then concluded work in Ankara with a visit to the Embassy of the State of South Africa to express gratitude and support for its remarkable step in filing a case against the Israeli entity at the International Court of Justice for committing genocide and war crimes against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
Justice and Democracy Forum held a meeting in Jakarta and Lombok Indonesia from 16 until 23 November 2024.
JDF held a very productive meetings and discussions while in Indonesia, first with the Chairman of the People’s Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia H. Ahmad Muzani and Dr. HM. Hidayat Nur Wahid to discuss state administration and the wisdom of the Indonesian nation.
JDF also met with the Leader of the Prosperous Justice Party Fraction of the DPR RI, Dr. Jazuli Juwaini. Followed by a meeting with the leadership of the Indonesian Islamic Mass Organization to understand the treasures of Islam and Indonesian nationality.
JDF held a meeting with the Prosperous Justice Party, Chair of the PKS Shura Council Dr. Salim Segaf Aljufri and other PKS leaders.
Next, JDF met with the Minister of Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia Natalius Pigai to discuss human rights condotion in Indonesia. JDF also met with UNHCR Indonesian Representatives to see firsthand the international refugee management system in the region.
